The Municipality of Hoeje-Taastrup will host a scenarioworkshop the 26 May 2010 on the topic “The Future of Concrete”. The workshop is part of the European SME Week 2010.

On the workshop the participants will try to make bids for the future trends and possible development scenarios for businesses in the concrete industry.

Hopefully the workshop will result in a number of creative projects which can contribute to the municipality's future urban development projects and strengthen the innovation capacity of the businesses.

• 10.00 Workshop on the uncertain future trends and scenarios
• 12.00 First bid on future projects
• 12:10 End

The guest list includes a number of companies in the concrete industry, architects, designers and contractors involved in the project. Also invited is the reference group of the project, which represents Danish Concrete, Builder Association, School of Architecture and the Concrete Centre of Danish Technological Institute.

The workshop will be followed by another workshop which will focus on the influence of the creative industry in the concrete business and how innovation can increase growth in the industry.
