17 February 2011, Kortrijk, Belgium
The (Belgium) on the 17th of February highlights creativity. The concept of a science café is simple: in the relaxed setting of a café people have an informal exchange of views.
Some scientists give a brief introduction about the subject, but after that it's up to everyone. A moderator coordinates all questions, comments and opinions towards a lively pub discussion.
A taste of the central questions of the evening:
- How can you learn and train creativity?
- Why are creativity and flexibility today the hallmarks of successful organizations?
- In what sense is creativity a sought-after skill in businesses today?
- What is the impact of creativity techniques in our brains?
- Which inspirational sources do (product)designers often use?
- What are the effects of environmental factors (e.g. color) on our creativity
