On the 14th of June 2012 the City of Amsterdam will be the European centre of creativity. During the Creative Amsterdam/ECIA event policymakers and creative entrepreneurs will reflect upon creative industries policy on a local, regional, national and European level.

Creative Amsterdam is the regional one-stop shop for all those interested in creative industries in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area.

ECIA will have to become the one-stop shop for policymakers in the Creative industries implementing tools and providing recommendations for the new European Innovation Policy: Horizon 2020.

After almost 5 years of Creative Amsterdam and on the doorstep of a new era the question is: how can we link and up-grade creative industries policies in order to let creative entrepreneurs flourish and the European economy as a whole thrive?
