L’innovation est décisive pour le développement scientifique et la croissance économique. Mais pour être durable, l’innovation doit s’appuyer sur une coopération plus large et transversale. Le projet Creative City Challenge (CCC, défi ville créative) vise à développer et éprouver une stratégie efficace s’appuyant sur un grand nombre d’instruments et de méthodes. Son objectif est le développement des économies urbaines et rurales, compétitives et novatrices, dans la région de la mer du Nord afin de pouvoir contribuer davantage à la réalisation des objectifs du processus de Lisbonne.Ainsi, CCC se concentre sur la mise en place et le développement du potentiel novateur de l’économie locale par le rôle de catalyseur des industries créatrices en s’appuyant sur un partenariat transnational associant gouvernements et acteurs de l’éducation et de l’économie. |

“Implementing the Digital Agenda in the North Sea Region – good practises, challenges and opportunities”
The aim of the DANS Cluster Kick-off conference is to bring the Digital Agenda for Europe to a more regional level and to show how activities and projects implemented in the frame of the Interreg North Sea Region Programme can contribute to it. Major results as well as some good practices from the Interreg IVB NSR projects “Creative City Challenge”, “Smart Cities” and “E-CLIC” will be presented and will showcase the “northern” way of implementing the Digital Agenda.

Last year an international panel of experts granted the BEST COLLABORATION AWARD for the first time. The first BCA 20110 was designed to reward the best example of collaboration between partners from the creative industries sector and another from a more traditional industry focussing on innovative practices beyond traditional business relationships as well as alliances with exceptional results.
