Within the framework of the overall project, the main objectives of this report are to provide a branding framework for policies and activities concerning the creative city development in HTM with specifc regard to the concrete industry, i.e. a traditional industry which arguably can be “lifted” into the experience economy.
Four Artists from the partner regions of the North Sea area (Netherlands/Belgium/England/Scotland/Sweden/Denmark) can live and work for 1,5 months in the area around the Oldenburg central station. The area around the Oldenburg central station is a district which is currently in change, a redevelopment area with the ambition to become an urban and creative district of Oldenburg. Project time: 15.06.2011 – 24.07.2011.
The BEST COLLABORATION AWARD 2010 is rewarding the best collaboration between a partner within the creative industries with another creative or more traditional industries in 2010 in the EU north sea region. Please fill in all required details until the 30th of July 2010. Please send us photos, presentations and other documents regarding your best collaboration attached to your application.

Second Research Seminar

This midterm report covers the first half of the project’s life span. It provides some general information about the participating partner regions with special focus on the creative industries and gives an overview on the various activities which have been carried out in the participating regions as from September 2009 until the first half of 2011.

The Creative Boost Summer School has been developed by Dundee College as part of its involvement in the Interreg funded Creative City Challenge project.
The Summer School has been designed and developed in conjunction with the Cultural Enterprise Office (http://www.culturalenterpriseoffice.co.uk/website/) and CCSkills (http://www.ccskills.org.uk/) to boost enterprise and entrepreneurial skills in recent graduates from creative industries courses to help better equip them to survive and thrive off the skills they have developed from their education.
